Can I Crack NEET in two months if I start today from zero?
Hello friends. If you have come to this blog, there can be two reasons:
One, you have just woken up from your ignorant sleep right now, two months before NEET and are wondering if there’s still a chance; a small hope that you can clear NEET. If this is your problem, you are in the right place
Second, you have studied a lot already but you’re just nervous and scared and have started thinking that maybe you’ve not studied anything at all. If this is the case, then head to another blog ‘Can I crack NEET in two months?’
Is it even possible to crack NEET in two months?
If I were to answer this question to either of the two types of people, answer would remain the same: YES. IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE. I wont lie to you- it’s going to be the most difficult thing you’ve done, but you can do it. 550-600 is a very doable score if you do these 2 months the right way.
I know people who say they’ve cracked NEET by studying for only 2 months, I’m sure you know someone like this too. If not, then you can be this person, just believe in yourself and hope that you are very lucky during the paper.
Before we start with the strategy on how you’re actually going to make this magic happen, I want you to look at yourself in the mirror, look into your eyes and promise yourself that you’re going to give it your all. ANYTHING IT TAKES. If perchance, you are not able to clear NEET this year, you will still have a two-month head start for NEET 2025 if you do these two months right.
So, let’s start:
To get an idea of where you stand, take a full portion mock test. I know it sounds scary but it will be your biggest motivation, trust me. You can easily get a 400+ score based on smart tricks only – like rule of exclusion, using dimensions and units in physics, substituting the values in the question for physics etc.
If you score good, you have already set a positive mood for the next two months. If not, you have set a challenge for yourself, and who doesn’t like challenges?
Next, take the idea that you’re starting from zero out of your head, nobody starts from zero. You might have attended classes, listened to something passively, you might have just seen the terms, the words, the examples. You’re way ahead that where you were when you first entered 11th std.
Now, we start with the plan: I have divided the 2 months into first 40 days and next 20 days
First 40 days: The GRIND
The subject strategy:
Biology:
You have 360 marks based on just 2 textbooks. Take that in. 360 MARKS ON JUST TWO TEXTBOOKS. You need to be 100% sure that you’re not skipping anything from the NCERT biology textbooks. That’s it, that’s the only reference for biology.
Front to back, no excuses. Study one/two chapters a day in a way that you’re done in 40 days. You HAVE to make sure that you do not lose marks in biology
Chemistry and Physics:
To get into these two subjects, you need to first analyse your strengths and weaknesses (If you have studied anything before). So, we’re gonna sit down and make a list of the topics that you have an idea about. Next, take the weightage list and compare. If you have covered high weightage topics, well and good. If not, don’t worry.
Right now, we focus on high weightage topics which naturally take more effort. We can alternate this with low weightage topics that are relatively easier to study too. We do not try to understand the concepts now, just stick to what you know and start memorizing the formulae sheet.
For organic and inorganic, you’re just going to have to play memory game, read the same thing everyday. You have to rely on your short term memory now, look for short notes and get to memorizing it. Don’t try to understand organic chemistry now, it’s not a two month thing.
How to go about the day:
Question Practice:
I would suggest solving questions of a particular topic as soon as you’re done studying it. It will reinforce your understanding and make sure that it sticks in your brain until you’re done with the exam. Question solving must thus be a compulsory part of your day.
Setting goals and deadlines:
To keep yourself disciplined you’re going to set the task for the day and make sure that you complete it. Set realistic yet ambitious goals. Come on, you need to work more than usual.
Previous year questions:
Another important aspect of the day is PYQ solving. You are not going to sleep before solving the PYQs on the topic that you’ve studied that day.
PYQs will give you the insights on all the important topics in a chapter. Read our ‘Importance of PYQS’ blog, you will realise that it is very easy to get a safe score by just solving PYQs strategically.
Next 20 days: The smart work
The deciding factor:
Let’s makke one thing clear, if you fail to be alert during exam, if you are in bad health, none of the efforts matter. You NEED to take proper care of yourself during these 20 days. Proper sleep (atleast 6 hours), good food (no skipping meals), sunlight and daily showers – all are compulsory.
Study?
You’re not going to take up anything new in these last days, work on what you have already learnt during the 40 day time. REVISE REVISE REVISE. Remember the 80-20 principle, it is 20% of the content that gets you 80% of the marks, be wise and don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to do something that seems impossible. Believe on the NCERT and believe in yourself.
Your aim should be attempting one mock a day, it’s very doable. We’ve attempted 2 mocks a day in our last preparation days, you can easily manage one. Attempt, analyse, revise. Follow this cycle.
Keep revising formula sheet fro physics and physical chemistry. Keep flipping through the textbook of biology. Keep reading organic and inorganic chemistry. As i said, REVISE REVISE REVISE, that is the only rule.
Some tips:
Study interlinked chapters together.
We have an entire list of interlinked chapters, to cite some: thermodynamics in both physics and chemistry. Electrostatics and gravitation. etc . Be smart with your time.
Block people out:
Do not listen to anybody who says ‘How are you special? How will you crack NEET in two months? It’s impossible’ Ask them to just leave you alone.
Keep the motivation up:
Talk to people who inspire you, DM us if you want to talk to us, make sure that you are in a positive loop.
That’s it.
There is no master hack, there is only hard work. It is not impossible if you have decided you can do it.
If you do crack NEET in 2 months, you will realise that it is not really all luck, it’s effort and smart work too. Now, stop googling ‘How to crack NEET in two months’, you have enough orientation, don’t waste another second of your time on this. Go ahead, start studying and make us proud. All the best, my friend.
