NEET exam guidelines- The admit card: Dos and Don’ts
NEET is a very stressful exam. You guys are already very stressed about the exam, the difficulty level, and time management. So, it becomes very important to minimize stress and anxiety regarding the rest of the exam process.

NEET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines: The Admit Card
The admit card is the single most important document that you need to carry to the Exam Centre. Here are the important points to remember about this document:
- You have to download the admit card from the NTA website yourself. The Admit Card will not be sent by post. Download and take a colour print well in advance, try not to wait for the exam day.
- You admit card includes the details of the exam centre, and you have to appear for the exam in the given exam centre only, you cannot change it or choose to go to another centre.
- Do not panic, if there is a mistake in the admit card (photograph or signature). Just approach the Help Line which is open between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Don’t worry, you WILL be allowed to attempt the exam, and NTA will make changes in the records later on. You must not change anything yourself.
- You HAVE to carry the admit card print-copy with you to the exam centre. If you forget to bring it, you will not be allowed to appear for the exam. In no case, will you be issued a duplicate Admit Card for NEET (UG)-2023 at the Examination Centres.
- You should preserve your Admit Card in good condition for future reference.
- You will NOT be issued an admit card if your Application is found to be incomplete for any reason (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned Applications) or who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria for the examination.
- If an admit card has been issued to you, it does not necessarily mean that you are eligible. Your eligibility shall further be checked at the next stages of the admission process.
Additions to be made in the admit card:
i) Paste a recent postcard-sized photograph (4”x6”) in the space provided. Make sure that it has been taken against a white background, with your ears visible.
ii)Your parent/guardian’s signature should be taken in the space provided.
iii) Do NOT sign in the ‘candidate’s signature’ space. You are supposed to sign in this space on the exam day, in front of the invigilator.
