NEET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines: The Dress Code
It is very important to follow the dress code for the exam to avoid facing any problems during the frisking and the checks. The dress code is as follows:
Dress Code: Common NEET 2024 exam day guidelines for both male and female candidates
- Light clothes with long sleeves are not allowed. Wear dark colours. I wore a black half sleeved tshirt.
- Shoes/boots/sneakers, etc. will not be allowed. Slippers, sandals with low heels are allowed. Wear chappals which keep your toes visible. I wore a cheap chappal, so that I could just throw it away if there was anything wrong during frisking. I did not want to take a risk.
- Candidates in customary dress must report to the exam center by 12:30 pm. This is necessary so that proper frisking can take place without causing any inconvenience to the student or the conducting authorities. It is also mandatory for such candidates to have provided this information while filling the NEET 2024 application form.
- Candidates who are unwell and may need to deviate from the dress code of NEET 2024 must take prior permission from the NTA before the Admit Cards are released.
- Note: The frisking of the female candidates will be done inside a closed enclosure by female staff only.
