Apne Mock Test ki Jaanch Kaise Karein? (Hinglish)
Hey future doctors. Aaj hum ek bohot important yet overlooked topic ko discuss karege- ‘Mock test analysis’
Mock tests solve kyu karte hai?
Itni padhai karli, almost 4 hours continuously beth kar mock test bhi dediya, abhi analysis kyu?
Aise toh kaafi reasons hote hai, jaise: time management seekh pana, goal setting, and realistic exam experience.
But, sabse zyada important hai self-assessment.
Agar analyse hi nahi karrahe ho ki kya sahi hai and kya galat; toh 3 hours 20 mins waste karne ka kya fayda?
Apni mistakes ko identify karke unpe work karna is the most important motive behind practicing questions and solving mock tests.
What mistakes are we talking about?
1. Time Management Issues:
Paper given time slot mai complete nahi ho paraha hai.
Yeh kaafi common problem hai jo aspirants face karte hai during mock tests.
Yeh kaafi reasons ke wajah se ho sakta hai:
- Aapki paper attempting strategy achi nahi hai
- Aapka questions solve karneka order galat hai isliye aapka time waste horaha hai.
- Yaar sabse kharab question se start karoge toh rona aayega hi na. Sabse pehle simple questions solve karo, biology se start karo.
Maine niche achi paper attempting strategy ka link dediya hai.
2. Silly Mistakes:
Yeh problem pichli problem ki ekdum opposite problem hai. Hum kabhi kabhi itni jaldbaazi mai questions solve karte hai ki kuch questions bina reason galat solve kardete hai. Yeh faltu galtiyan hai.
Bhai mujhe pata hai clock ka pressure hota hai, issi pressure mai kaafi types ki silly mistakes ho jaati hai.
Usually, yeh type ki silly mistakes hojaati hai:
Keywords par dhyan naa jaana:
Kuch words question mai bohot zyada important hote hai. Yeh shabd ‘not’, ‘except’, or ‘only’, mai se ho sakte hai. Inko galti se read na karneke kaaran question galat hojaata hai.
Calculation Errors:
Concept pata hai, formula aata hai, time hai fir bhi calculation mai galti karna is the worst feeling ever. Trust me, maine bhi yeh faltu galti ki hai. Bohot rona aata hai jab pata chale ki aisi galtiyon ke valah se marks girgaye.
Answer A aaya but mark B kardiya.
Answers cross check nahi karne ke vajah se yeh ho sakta hai. Mostly aisi galtiya sabse strong sections mai hoti hai kyuki hum kuch zyada hi overconfident ho jaate hai. And obviously, time ka pressure bhi toh hai.
3. Conceptual mistakes:
Yeh rahi sabse common galti, concept hi nahi aata toh solve kaise karoge. Ache se analysis karoge toh samjhega ki konse konse chapter se tum lagataar galtiyan karte ho. Bohot saari galtiyon ka matlab hai ki uss chapter ko thoda aur ache se padhne ki bohot zyada zaroorat hai.
How to improve and keep track of these mistakes?
Check your Common mistakes, ask yourself a few questions: ‘yeh question kyu choda/ galat kiya?’ ‘darr lagraha tha dekh kar hi?’ ‘Samjha hi nahi?” “samjha but solve nahi kar paya” – yeh sab conceptual errors hai and baaki sab silly errors.
1. Time management:
Devise an exam strategy:
Sabse pehle easy, theoritical questions yani biology and inorganic chemistry. Jald se jald solve karke, question paper mai ek chota sa tick lagakar rakhdo.
Dono sections solve honeke baad, saathme bubble karna.
Uske baad physical chemistry and physics ke easy, theory-based ya direct formula based questions solve karlo, yeh bhi lagataar solve karne ke baad saathme bubble kar lena.
Aur fir end mai sab conceptual ya difficult calculations wale questions solve karne hai, yeh solution milte hi bubble karne wale questions hai.
Ek important chiz: Gharpe mock test solve akrte waqt khudko time karo. Biology solve hote hi ek baar time note down karlo, similarly baaki subjects ke liye bhi time note down karlo. If you’re spending more than 45 mins in biology then you’re wrong.
Humari exam paper strategy padhneke liye niche diye hue button par click karo.
Yeh strategy follow karke dekho, kam questions chutege.
2. Silly Mistakes:
Pehli baat toh, jab tak check nahi karoge ki question kyu wrong hua hai, pata hi nahi chalega ki improve kaha karna hai.
Make it a habit to identify your mistakes.
Jo confusing words hai jaise ‘NOT’ ‘ONLY’ ‘EXCEPT’ unhe dikhte hi underline kardo, so that you can make sure that you’re taking them into consideration while answering questions
Calculation errors agar kaafi zyada horahe hai, toh my friend, you need to pratice maths. Periodic tables revise karlo, and zyada se zyada calculation based questions practice karne ki koshish karo. It will take time but you will improve.
Agar bubbling galat horahi hai toh it can only and only be resolved by review. Bubble karne ke pehle cross check karo. 10 mins extra lagege but it’s better than losing out on marks.
3. Conceptual mistakes:
Ab hum, main point pe aate hai:
Conceptual mistakes toh sirf revision and question practice se sahi kar paoge. Ab isse time kese karna hai and revision schedule kis tarah banana hai yeh important hai.
Ek register banalo jisme tum sabhi subjects ke sabhi chapters ke naam note down karoge: Har mock test analysis ke baad yaha tally hoga. Every wrong question from a chapter equals one tally mark in it’s column.
Ek do mock tests ke baad, jis chapter mai tumne sabse zyada galtiyan ki ho, uska revision apne schedule mai add karlo. Iss tarah se smarter revision schedule devise hoga and you’ll improve your weak points.
Pro tip: Don’t lose touch with your strong topics, keep revising them as well
Bonus Tips:
If you’re spending more than 5 minutes on a question, then try to find alternative methods to solve that question at the end of the test. You might just come across a shortcut that will save a lot of time in the future.
Note down the questions that you’ve solved wrong in a separate register. I maintained one during my NEET prep and pata hai? 4-5 questions come straight out of that register, same values and everything.
Wonders for confidence: Keep a track of your scores too. 5 marks per week ke rate par bhi improvement milega na toh bass dekhna. Your confidence will be soaring high.
Conclusion:
Toh doston, yeh samajhna zaroori hai ki mock tests ko analyze karna mock test attempt karne jitna hi important hai. Har ek mock test ko dhyaan se dekhkar, aap apni galtiyon se seekhte ho, apne concepts ko aur mazboot banate ho, and time management mein gradually better ho jaate ho. Yaad rakho, har mock test ek mauka hai khud ko behtar banane ka. Toh, inhe seriously lo, ache se analyse karo, aur dekho kaise aap ek confident NEET aspirant mein badalte ja rahe ho. Tumhara doctor banne ka safar inhi chhoti-chhoti, lekin important steps se shuru hota hai. All the best, future doctors!
